Mary founded Billiington Stables in 2001 after graduating from College with a BS in Psychology followed by working for five years in the financial markets on Wall Street. Mary made the decision to pursue her passion in Show Jumping and has been extremely fortunate for the past 20 years. Combining her life’s passion, education and experience has turned out to be a recipe for success.

  • 38 consecutive years on the Horse show circuit: short Stirrup through Grand Prix
  • Successful & competitive as a junior in ASPCA Maclay, USEF Hunt Seat Medal,
    and Junior Hunters
  • Currently competing at the Grand Prix Level
  • Training Pony Hunters, Equitation and Jumpers

Mary has been qualifying junior riders for ASPCA Maclay and the USEF Medal Hunt seat Medal Finals since 1997

Junior Hunter and Pony Hunter Champions at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, FL and The Hampton Classic

Trained and qualified ponies and young riders for USEF Pony finals since 1999

Received the Zone II High Score Trainers award at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show in 1999 with Gray Horse Farms ,Large Pony Brighton’s Sketch

Mary continues to enjoy achievements in all of the above while also coaching several Adult Amateur Owners who have trained with her for over a decade

Riding Resume

Training is Mary’s career. Riding is her passion. A life long pursuit of excellence in both has motivated her to continually raise the bar for herself and her students. Her professional program reflects a dedication to preserving the integrity of this great sport through practice, perseverance and patience, but most important: respect for each and every horse.

Mary’s accomplishments include;

  • 17 years of Grand Prix competition with Placings at Winter Equestrian Festival
  • 2005 European Show Jumping Tour under Olympic Medalist Peter Leone
  • 2nd place in the $30,000 Grand Prix of Princeton on Horse Swiss Air
  • 6th Place in the $30,000 Grand Prix at the Ox Ridge Hunt Club on Horse Swiss Air
